Our studio on Bridge Street in Leighton Buzzard sits on the north eastern edge of the Aylesbury Vale, so many of these villages are actually closer to us than you might expect. Some are under 15 minutes away, while most others are within half an hour. This guide lists the main areas we serve with approximate drive times so you can see how easy the trip is from your home.

Which areas near Aylesbury does Gravity serve?

We welcome clients from right across the Aylesbury area. Villages to the north east of the town, along the A418 towards Leighton Buzzard, are the closest to the studio. Villages to the south and west of Aylesbury take a little longer but are still an easy drive.

The chart below shows approximate off peak drive times to our studio from a selection of towns and villages. Times will vary with traffic and your exact starting point.

Villages closest to the studio

If you live in the northern part of the Aylesbury Vale, you may be surprised how close Leighton Buzzard is. Wing, Stewkley, Wingrave and Rowsham are all nearer to our studio than to the centre of Aylesbury in terms of travel time for many journeys. For these clients, visiting Gravity is often quicker than driving into Aylesbury and finding parking there.

Aylesbury town and the southern villages

From Aylesbury itself the drive usually takes 20 to 25 minutes along the A418. Clients in Aston Clinton, Weston Turville, Stoke Mandeville and Wendover have a slightly longer journey but can often choose between routes, heading through Aylesbury or using the A41 towards Tring before turning north through Ivinghoe.

Waddesdon and the villages to the west of Aylesbury usually join the A418 on the edge of town. Whichever village you start from, a live map will quickly show the best option on the day.

Arriving from different directions

Where you start your journey affects which side of Leighton Buzzard you arrive on. Clients coming along the A418 from Aylesbury, Bierton or Wing reach the town from the Linslade side, which puts you close to Bridge Street and the western car parks. Clients from Stewkley and Soulbury arrive from a similar direction on quieter country roads.

If you are coming from Aston Clinton or Wendover via Tring and Ivinghoe, you will usually approach from the south. In that case the town centre car parks such as Duncombe Drive may be the easier option. Whichever way you arrive, the studio is only a short walk from the main car parks.

Travelling without a car

Some villages on the A418 corridor are served by the same buses that link Aylesbury and Leighton Buzzard. The 150 runs through Bierton and Wing, while the 165 serves Wingrave. Services are less frequent than in town, so plan your appointment around the timetable. For villages without a direct bus, it is usually easiest to share a lift with a friend.
